Monochromatic....

I have always been afraid to do a monochromatic layout using only white... but Jean Marie at Sisterhood of Scrap, challenged us to do so this week!! Thanks Jean marie!.
Also, Barb at Frosted Designs challenged us to do a monochromatic layout!

So... here it is... using only white with a black and white photo!!

One Hour Crop at SOS

Tonight I hosted a one-hour crop at Sisterhood of Scrap!!

It is always a blast challenging the awesome group of ladies that hang out there!
The sketch they were given was one from Page Maps...




And here is my take on it!! My ds doing what he does best!!

I am a Guest Designer today!!

Oh my gosh!!! I am a guest designer at Frosted Designs today!!

The challenge is to use acrylic, trancparencies, or vellum some way!

So, I made two....



This layout was made using 95% Websters Papers, which I had never used before! It was a challenge, but this layout of my Grandma turned out great!

This next layout is of my ds, who can never smile for me!!

The White Sale is still On!!

The White Sale is still on at the Sisterhoohd of Scrap! Go check it out if you haven't yet!
Nothing smells better than sheets hung on the clothesline!
You get that nice fresh smell, nothing is better than that.
So for this project, you need to hang something on it!!

Here is a sign I made for my laundry room I am going to re-paint this week...

Zipper Card

Oh my gosh! I must say that Colleen at Sisterhood of Scrap challenged me this week with a card we had to make using a zipper some how!! Thanks Colleen!
Here it is.. not very original, but i did it!!!

3 or more!!!

At Frosted Designs this month, the challenge was to do a project with 3 pictures or photos, stamps or digis on your card, layout or project. This was a challenge as I tend to scrap using only 1 of one thing!!! Thanks for the challenge girls!!

I also used this layout for one of the Sisterhood of Scrap January Challenges. We needed to use old stock, and this is my Bo-Bunny Alissa pp that I have had forever!!!

Happy New Year to All!!!

I started the year with a bang!!!
Head over to Sisterhood of Scrap and check out our January "White Sale" Challenge!!
10 amazing challenges to test your scrapping limits!!!

The first challenge is this.....
"Since January is the first month of the New Year let's start with this challenge.
Use something for every letter of the word January.
So you must fiqure out something for all the letters J-A-N-U-A-R-Y and incorporate them onto your project!
Trust me.. this is a tough one!! Let's see what you can come up with."
