The 3 Georges

This layout was done for a challenge at "Mission Create" I used stitching, rub-ons and a curved title! I think I will submit it to "The Scrappiest Sketch Blog" as well, as it follows Liz's wonderful sketch #47! Oh, and it can be found at SOS for Deanne's Soup of the Day Challenge from Jan. 9th! Great to be so organized!!





I had a lot of fun doing this layout of "The 3 Georges". I used Basic Grey "Lime Rickey", Bazzill CS and CB, Sassafras CB number, Little Yellow Bicycle journal tag, and a few misc. things I had laying about!

"Squeaky, Squeaky"

This layout is of my little Sasha doing what she does best... getting into her Christmas presents before anyone wakes up! I put the presents under the tree this past year at 6am.... and at 6:30, I heard a "squeak, squeak", got up, and sure enough... Sasha had found 2 of her presents that were under the tree! She gets so excited about presents, she trembles! What a hoot.

Here is my layout based on her sketch #46....
The journalling reads... "Hugs...is a 4 letter word for Stuart! He hates them! George got him good on Christmas Eve, 2009 with a huge Bear Hug. WTG George!".

All About Me... Challenge #9

We tend to scrapbook and document all the wonderful things that happen in our life, our wonderful families, our happy thoughts, and our wonderful lives.
But sometimes, things are not always so wonderful!

The challenge at "All About Me" for this week is "What makes You Angry". This was a hard layout to do for me, as I am so very angry with my DS. I love hime to bits, and would do anything for him, but I sure do not like him much right now.

We needed to do a l/o, card, or altered item using purple, blue, green and a bit of bling. This is the l/o I crested of the "Scooter Club" my son started when we lived in Cairo.

New Year's Resolutions....

Well, like most of us scrappers, we have been busy this time of the year.
My New Year's resolution is to keep my blog updated regularly with all those wonderful projects I am working on. So, starting January 1, 2010, I will be posting the first layouts of the year that I am currently working on!

December Challenge at MSW

Here is my take on her awesome sketch!

This is a l/o of the Whirling Dervishes that preformed on the Nile Cruise we went on while in Cairo. They were amazing! For about 20 minutes, this guy was twirling around like a top and I was getting dizzy just watching him! Amazing!

Create It Green DT Call

Hi everyone... Deanne over at "Create It Green" has a DT call out for those of us scrappers who like to re-cycle, re-use or re-duce! Here is what I submitted for this:

This card was recycled from a cardboard box lid, and the wide twill was from the wrapping of a box of BR stuff I had received....

I must admit I have been neglecting my scrappy side of my life this past week or two! I have been busy trying to get the garden cleaned up for fall! This week.... lots of layouts coming!!!
