While in Cairo, we visited the City of the Dead numerous times. The journaling says it all....

This l/o is of me and my dh and friend Jan at the Giza Pyramids in Cairo, Egypt. No way I was getting on these flea infested animals.... but on the other hand, I did put on the camel jockey's flea infested head wrap! YUCK!!!

Last Night in Cairo

This l/o is for a contest I found using only Jillibean Soup pp. I really remember this last night we had in Cairo, before moving back to Canada... we spent the day at CAC hanging out with friends and saying goodbye! Uncle Mike was still with us at this time, and it was hard to say goodbye to him as well. He ended up staying in Cairo and met a wonderful girl! (Who is now his wife and mother to his adorable daughter!). I miss Cairo, and more importantly, I miss Mike!

Another week....

Well, another week and I am a bit behind on my "scrappy" challenges. It had been a busy week with the boys.... homework, soccer, shopping, hanging out! Oh well... this is my life.

Time to get to my creative spot and spend the day playing! Later!!

Officially 50!

Yup!! Thursday saw the big 5-0! How freakin' depressing! I have the grey hair to show for it that's for sure! ... and the scary thing about getting older, is that I am sure starting to look like my Mother! (sorry Mom!!)

But to be honest, it is just a number and your age has nothing to do with your attitude!

Well, my challenge was to do 5 l/o before this Friday, and already I have done 3! It helps that the weather here is so chilly. I don't feel guilty scrappin' instead of gardening. Time to check the sites for inspiration.

This is my Favorite l/o that I have done recently! I layered stuff, ripped stuff, and rubbed-on stuff! I was so happy....

I absolutely LOVE this pp from my Sudio Calico kit! It works so well with the pic of me at 2 with my very first bike. We had this bike for year's, and all my siblings first rode it.... I wonder what ever happed to it?
